Five checks the evening before you fly
This is the first note on the update log. It is a checklist, not a new rule.
Open the wallet app and make one small payment. If it fails at the kitchen table, it will fail at the airport noodle shop, with less time.
Read the passport name you will type into 12306. It is the name on the photo page, in that order. A ticket bought under a nickname is a different person's ticket.
Read the hotel's foreign-guest line again. A good price at a flat that cannot register you is not a good price.
Turn the data plan on and off once. Save the hotel name in characters into a note you can open with no signal.
Look up your own passport on an official entry page. The 30-day list on our entry page is the list we read on 12 October 2026. It is not a promise about a passport that was never on it.
